Eric Best Bio:
I
first picked up a set of drum sticks way back in the 6th grade.
It wasn't until my later years in high school and college
that I really started to make a connection with music, with
my biggest influences being Carter Beauford, Mike Portnoy
and Dany Carey. Since then, music has been an integral part
of my life. While my main focus didn't lie with music, it
was an essential balance for me. In high school and college
I participated in as many bands as possible. When I moved
to Colorado, only a year ago, I new I had to find a way to
continue my drumming. Luckily, I found Battery Park. It has
already proven to be a rewarding experience, as I am able
to not only play the beats I want, but have input in the song
as a whole. I look forward to writing new music and getting
back to performing.
